Fine Art Printing

Quality is our watchword using  one of our Canon 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system for exceptional colour reproduction up to 44 inches wide. Equally important, prints that are guaranteed to be unaffected by light (Lightfastness) for 100 years.
We can print on on a wide variety of materials. For art the available papers are very similar to the papers artists use making the finished work virtually indistinguishable from the original.

Where an artists work is commercially viable we would be interested in discussing with them our scheme where they can have there work printed with no upfront costs.

Black and white photography work has never looked so good. A combination ofcanon ipf8100 black, matt black, grey and photo grey inks allow for incredibly smooth graduation without graininess for incredibly lifelike photography. Opening the door to numerous applications such as wedding photography, christenings, and the rapidly growing lifestyle portrait work.

There are 4 main processes involved to produce a final print some are optional:-

  1. Image capture. If you are a digital photographer then this will be achieved as you take your picture. For fine art this will require a scanning process or for larger work, photography. Typical priced from £5 - £45 depending on resolution and size. For fine art work this price includes 1 initial proof (see below) and some minor retouching and colour matching if required.
  2. Proofing . Not essential but desirable. Premium art paper is used for all proofs. The Initial proofs comprise two separate images approximately A4 in size, one is the full image reduced to A4 the other a representative A4 selection from the image at 1:1 Scale. Additional proofs are £15 each
  3. Photoshop retouching is charged at £10 per 15minutes. This is required when an accurate colour match is necessary.
  4. Printing this is carried out on one of our Canon printers on a selection of materials – various photographic and fine art papers as well as canvas.
